I LOVE photography, and i know there are plenty of people who aspire to be photographers.
We take pictures, and love it.
But, here's my HUGE issue, and tell me if i'm wrong.
I think it's wrong to charge people, claiming to be a professional photographer, when you have not been to school or do not know a lot about photography. If you do not know how to set up a studio, or know nothing or very little about composition, or know all the titbits of everything else, it is wrong to claim to be a pro.
I have SEEN pictures of someone who has a "Photography business", who OBVIOUSLY knows nothing about lighting or composition. I'm not saying i know a lot either, but i have worked with a photographer before and so i do know a bit.
It pisses me off knowing that these people pay money to get a shitty job done.
I think it's the honesty that upsets me the most! I mean in the future i could lose business to these people! It's competetive, and it's BULL when you claim to be something you're not.
So that's my little rant, let me know if you agree or disagree.

I murmur under moon and stars; In brambly wildernesses
I linger by my shingly bars; I loiter round my cresses.
And out again I curve and flow to join the brimming river,
for men may come and men may go But I go on forever.
